News

Chicago, IL – Aunt Martha’s is honored to be featured on the Wintrust Mural Building, a civic canvas that spotlights local nonprofits across Chicago. Our three-panel artwork – Together, Community, Access – captures care that’s rooted in place, lived between neighbors, and expanded through modern pathways to access.

  • Together – our grounded presence and shared purpose
  • Community – neighbors of different ages and backgrounds in everyday connection

From the Artist

At the unveiling, lead artist John Jansky described the three panels as a portrait of our work: Community centers mutual support and dignity so no one is overlooked; Access shows how telehealth and technology create connection, keeping care within reach; and Together brings it all into focus – access, compassion, and exceptional care, with a future-focused vision where everyone can thrive. He also noted that youth input and a focus group helped shape the final design.
