As we close the holiday season and look ahead to the year before us, I want to share a bit about the impact of our 2025 Holiday Gift Program for families in the communities we serve. Thank you to the donors, partners, and community members who mobilized so quickly to help make this support possible.

Holiday Gift Program Impact at a Glance

  • $50,000 in gift cards and scholarship support
  • $80,000 in in-kind contributions from corporate and community partners
  • A combined $130,000 in total holiday impact, our strongest result to date
  • The establishment of a $30,000 scholarship fund supporting three siblings previously in our care
  • A Humboldt Park grocery giveaway that distributed $25,000 in gift cards to community members

Community and Partner Support Behind This Year’s Impact

Several individuals played a direct role in helping unlock additional support and momentum, including John and Nada Christopher, David Hoke, Howard Peters, and Patricia Roche. Corporate partners like Proven IT and the New York Life Foundation strengthened this work through employee engagement and targeted grant support, alongside other partners who contributed funding and in-kind support.
