Mia Collins is the Vice President of the Northern Region for the Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness Parenting, Foster Care, Intact Family Services and Intact Family Recovery Programs. Mia has a twenty-three year career in the social service child welfare profession as an advocate for children, parents and families.
Mia studied at Chicago State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice as well as Masters of Social Work degree. She is now actively pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership.
Mia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Certified Professional LIFE Coach (CPLC), Certified Alcohol & Other Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC), Licensed Child Welfare Service Employee (LCWSE), Certified Parenting Instructor, Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), and Medication Assisted Addiction Treatment Professional (MAATP). She continually strives to expand her knowledge of the continuum of programs and community support services and models available to at-risk population groups interfacing the social service and court systems.
