School & sports physicals, backpacks, produce & more this summer

Back-to-School Health Fairs are happening this summer in Joliet, Aurora, and Chicago Heights to help your family get ready for the 2025–2026 school year. Whether your child needs a school or sports physical, or you’re looking for backpacks, fresh produce, and community resources—there’s something for everyone. Appointments are required for physicals, but all are welcome to stop by and take part in the day’s events.

Our Back-to-School Health Fairs offer more than just physicals. Each event is designed to support your family with services, giveaways, and community resources—all in one place.

Who Should Come

Back-to-School Health Fairs are for families getting ready for the 2025–2026 school year. If your child needs a school or sports physical—or just loves a good backpack and fun activities—this event is for you.

  • Children entering Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th, 9th, or 12th grade
  • Students who need a sports physical, including those planning to try out or play for a middle school or high school team
  • Families looking for community resources and giveaways
  • Parents with questions about school health requirements

Appointments are required for physicals and immunizations, but everyone is welcome to stop by for giveaways, resources, and activities.

What to Bring

If your child has a scheduled physical, please bring:

  • School physical form (if available)
  • Immunization records for your child
  • Insurance card (if you have one)
  • Parent or guardian ID

If you’re coming to enjoy the fair, consider bringing:

  • Sunscreen
  • A hat
  • A bag to carry items from community organizations
