Aunt Martha’s Health & Wellness will host a dedication ceremony for its newly renovated clinic in downtown Chicago Heights on Friday, June 9 at 10 a.m.
The Peggy Eisenstein Family Health Center will be dedicated in memory of the long-time Homewood resident whose involvement with Aunt Martha’s began as a foster parent in 1975 and continued until her passing in 2016. She was elected to the organization’s board of directors in 1979, and served as chairperson from 1994 to 1997.
The renovation project, for which Aunt Martha’s received more than $900,000 of capital funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), represents a reimagining of the entire clinic environment. The entire facility, over 7,600 square feet, has been redesigned.
