{"id":3551,"date":"2022-02-01T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-02-01T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.auntmarthas.org\/sin-categorizar\/reconocimiento-del-mes-de-la-historia-negra\/"},"modified":"2022-10-24T22:27:27","modified_gmt":"2022-10-24T22:27:27","slug":"reconocimiento-del-mes-de-la-historia-negra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.auntmarthas.org\/es\/del-presidente-y-director-general-aunt-marthas-s\/reconocimiento-del-mes-de-la-historia-negra\/","title":{"rendered":"Reconocimiento del Mes de la Historia Negra"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante su \u00faltimo mes de febrero en el cargo, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/02\/01\/1075623826\/why-is-february-black-history-month\">el Presidente Obama<\/a> dijo sobre el Mes de la Historia Negra: \u00abSe trata de la experiencia compartida de todos los afroamericanos&#8230; y de c\u00f3mo esas experiencias han dado forma y han supuesto un reto y, en \u00faltima instancia, han fortalecido a Estados Unidos\u00bb. Este a\u00f1o, centrado en el <a href=\"https:\/\/asalh.org\/black-history-themes\/\">tema de la salud y el bienestar de los negros<\/a>, el Mes de la Historia Negra reconoce el legado de los estudiosos de la medicina y los proveedores de atenci\u00f3n sanitaria. Nos recuerda la continua contribuci\u00f3n de los hospitales, escuelas y cl\u00ednicas comunitarias que crearon. Nos recuerda las asociaciones que forjaron para apoyarse mutuamente frente a la discriminaci\u00f3n generalizada y todas las injusticias y disparidades que genera.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En medio del mes 23 de una pandemia que ha asolado de manera desproporcionada a las comunidades de color, el Mes de la Historia Negra ofrece la oportunidad de aprender de los sacrificios del pasado, pero tambi\u00e9n de reconocer y reafirmar nuestro apoyo a nuestros compa\u00f1eros de trabajo y colegas negros y afroamericanos mientras escriben su propia narrativa y dan forma, como siempre lo han hecho, a la nuestra. Parece apropiado reconocer  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.emanuelchriswelch.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Orador Welch<\/a>  por ser el primer afroamericano en ocupar el cargo, y por su trabajo con los l\u00edderes del  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilbcf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Grupo Legislativo Negro<\/a>  para garantizar que las hist\u00f3ricas medidas de reforma aprobadas el a\u00f1o pasado se apliquen con el mismo vigor y con el esp\u00edritu de diversidad, inclusi\u00f3n y justicia con el que fueron creadas.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De los m\u00e1s de 120.000 pacientes y participantes que Aunt Martha&#8217;s tiene el privilegio de atender, m\u00e1s de la mitad (53%) se identifican como negros o afroamericanos. Cuando visitan Aunt Martha&#8217;s, ven a los m\u00e9dicos, las enfermeras, los especialistas en bienestar infantil, los coordinadores de atenci\u00f3n, los visitantes a domicilio, el personal de respuesta a la crisis y otros profesionales que proceden de su comunidad y entienden que la palabra m\u00e1s poderosa es siempre CONFIANZA. Aunt Martha&#8217;s, como organizaci\u00f3n, se enorgullece de formar parte de esa relaci\u00f3n vital. Y, adem\u00e1s, estamos orgullosos de compartir el trabajo y el impacto de nuestros colegas y amigos mientras siguen dando forma y fortaleciendo las comunidades que nos
