Aunt Martha's Merges with Danville's Center for Chilren's Services

Monday, July 2, 2012, 9:29 AM

Aunt Martha's and the Danville-based Center for Children's Services (the Center) have merged, a move intended to ensure the availability of child welfare, crisis intervention and mental health services in Danville and its neighboring communities.

Raul Garza, Aunt Martha’s Chief Executive Officer, sees the merger as a strategic move that goes beyond the balance sheet. He points to the formation of an entity positioned to succeed as part of Illinois’ emerging coordinated care system as one of the key benefits of the merger.

“There isn’t another organization in the region with the capability to seamlessly integrate health care and social services in the way we will at Aunt Martha’s as a result of this merger,” explains Garza.
